Organizing events always start with session selection and finally creates a schedule on it. As I was busy always with community activities, I am using sessionize website a lot, this website is free of charge for free and nonprofit conferences, but for the paid conference, you need to pay as you using it ( fair enough)
after 2019 it was the first time we had a big in-person conference ( July 2022, Analytics Friday). To create a schedule and use this website, I believe it is good to access the data about schedule and timetable to create a power bI reports from the schedule created by sessionize website.
see the report for the Analytics Friday conference

1- this report helps me to create a flexible Power bI and users able to slice and dice based on the level, session tracking, and also room number
2- able to see abstract and session title on one page
3- the schedule created by sesionize needs to scroll up and down, and it hard to see the whole page

I decided to get data from sessionize website and create a Power BI report as below, and then create a Powe BI template file, so others are able to use it for their events.
Set UP Sessionize to export Data
Before creating a Powe BI report, you need to make sure you have already created a JSON endpoint.

Just to make sure you created as below
you need to put a name for the API and select JSON

Then browse down to check the fields you want to include in the report; I selected the below ones.

Then select Create Endpoint at the top right of the page. At the top right of the page, first, save the changes and then click on Get the code.

Now you should see the link to the JSON file; copy the first link as it holds all the data.

Power BI Desktop
Open the file template from here
Sessionize Power BI template (6096 downloads )After opening the file, the Power BI template needs the parameter from you.

I did the same for our upcoming conference Difinity

Remember
- you need to specify the room number
- Each session needs to have the level and Track,
- A schedule is created and allocated before Sessionize
- All session titles and bio already added in Sessionized
- You need to change the logo of the file yourself
this version is the basic one; I hope In the future, I will be able to add more detail to it
