It was my honor to present for the third year in a row in PASS Summit 2015. I’ve seen many familiar faces of #SQLFamily, many MVPs, MCMs, Speakers and PASS HQ. I’ve presented my favorite topic here this year which was: Azure Data Factory vs SSIS. Slides shared in PASS website, but I also uploaded them here for more convenience.

Session Title: Azure Data Factory vs SSIS

Session Description:

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a mature on-premise ETL and data-transformation tool. Azure Data Factory is a cloud ETL and data-consolidation tool that was recently released as part of Microsoft Azure services. In this session, learn the main differences between these two tools and learn how to determine which works best in specific scenarios. We compare Azure Data Factory and SSIS on many factors; demos will help illustrate the differences.
