Sqlbits 2016 was my first SqlBits ever, after few efforts in past few years. This time I managed to go to Liverpool, and meet many friends from UK and Europe who I haven’t met in person before. It was a pleasure to meet you all there. In this post I’ve shared my session slides. I have to thank all organizers of SqlBits for their phenomenal job.

Session Title: Azure Data Factory vs SSIS

Session Description:

SSIS is a well known ETL tool on premisses. Azure Data Factory is a managed service on cloud which provides ability to extract data from different sources, transform it with data driven pipelines, and process the data. in this session you will see many demos comparing ADF (Azure Data Factory) with SSIS in different aspects. you will also learn features that are available in ADF but not in SSIS with many demos.

Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions regarding this session and material.
